The Roku Screensaver Is Insane
Have you ever really looked at the Roku screensaver?
It is insane.
The background has some crazy, catastrophic events going on.
That's not the insane part.
The insane part is the foreground.
The foreground is a pretty normal cityscape.
But then there are the billboards. Like in reality, this is where Roku advertises various shows and services.
Ad space is pretty much always the center focus point, so what the Roku screensaver is saying is, "Ignore all that crazy stuff going on in the background and instead look at our ads. Don't pay attention to the real crazy shit going on, just consume, consume, consume."
That is insane.
