The Pilot: A Dimension Defenders Story NOW IN PRINT THROUGH BOOKSHOP.ORG! (and free digitally)
This is just a quick post to let anyone interested know that my novella kicking off the Dimension Defenders series is now available in various places and formats.
Previously, this story was published though Kindle Vella. I got sick of the lock-in of Vella and moved the publishing to the older version of this blog. When I rebranded the blog, fictional content didn't fit, and I never bothered moving them to Bear.
Well, I finally got around to publishing them in print and ebook through KDP. But! This time, I've decided to expand beyond Amazon.
So, while, yes, you can go to Amazon and find the book in ebook and paperback, you can also go to Bookshop.org and buy a paperback copy while supporting your local book store!

Technically, if you buy through Bookshop, I do make less than if you bought straight through Amazon. However, I like the idea of supporting local book stores (and not supporting Amazon) enough that I would much prefer that you order though Bookshop than Amazon.
However, ebook support through Bookshop is a little spotty. Currently, you can only get my book in paperback on Bookshop.
So, to give an option for getting digital copies DRM free and not through Amazon, I have uploaded them to Ko-fi for pay-what-you-want (or, free!). So, go here to get the digital version (PDF, epub, and cover png) for free!

P.S. Yes, this Bookshop.org and free on Ko-fi thing is going to be my model going forward. It's available on/though Amazon for simplicity and because that's where the market is. But for anyone finding or following this blog, you get the better options (IMO).
