The Golden Rule of Creativity
The golden rule is to "do unto others as you would have them do unto you".
So, the Golden Rule of Creativity follows: create the things you wish to see created, and do it in a way, and to the standard of quality, that you would like to see it be done.
This thought occurred to me when considering the importance of the blurb on Amazon products. Ultimately, there are arguments either way, that it is vitally important, and that it doesn't really matter. So, the answer to how you should treat your blurb is to simply write the kind of blurb you would want to see if it wasn't your product. Plain, simple, easy. Bam.
