Dear American Christianity,
As we make our way through 2024, I ask that you refrain from placing any faith in the political system of this country.
I'd like to remind you of Luke 4:5-7:
“And the devil led Jesus up, and shoving him in a single moment all the kingdoms of the earth, said to him, ‘I will give you all this power, and the splendor of them; for it has been given into my hands and I give it to whom I wish. If you worship me, it will all be yours.’”
Seeking earthly power requires bowing down to the devil. Plain and simple.
Instead, place your faith in the Kingdom that is not of this world. Seek the Kingdom of God that is within you.
