Day Dreaming > Doom Scrolling
The title pretty much says it all.
We've lost the art of daydreaming and are much worse off for it.
Instead of letting our minds wander, we get sucked into the endless stream of consumption.
Our minds need a break. They need to be allowed to go on a leisurely stroll every once in a while.
So, next time you have the urge to pick up your phone and swipe that thumb a few thousand times, instead just sit and let you mind travel wherever it pleases.
